Linen has several advantages when used in the kitchen: Linen is more absorbent and resistant than cotton and dries faster without developing bad odors because it limits the development of bacteria. Also, as the fiber of linen is longer than cotton, a linen dishcloth will not leave any trace or fibers on your glasses.
