Danièle is inspired in her production by two main fields of interest, fine art stationery and nature in its multiple evolutionary forms. She has always been attracted by the beauty of paper as well as nature’s infinite splendor and diversity. Reuse and conservation are central to Danièle’s work through her choice of recycled papers, rich in textures and colors. Her collections of notepads, travel diaries and albums, highlight these aspects very well.
Danièle has also explored visual arts through the practice of calligraphy and oriental painting. Her paintings bear witness to this training through her concern for harmony, refinement and diversity of brush strokes.
