Karina Guévin fell in love with glass during the course of her studies at the ‘Université du Québec’ in Trois-Rivières, where she began to make sculptures in mixed techniques, abundantly blending glass. This led her to discover and refine her skills as a glassblower at ‘Espace Verre’ school in Montreal.
Her approach to glass is very innovative as Karina loves to push the limits when developing ideas. The shapes and colors come from the depth of her soul and reflect her sparkling personality. She currently works as a flameworking teacher in many schools around the world. Her glass sculptures and jewelry are exposed throughout Canada as well as in the United States, France, Japan and the United Kingdom. She works in partnership with her spouse, Cédric Ginart, who has a scientific glass blowing diploma. Cédric also has developed a flourishing production of fine glass art products.
