Sylvie Lupien has been working as a jeweller for over thirty years. Her time is allocated to small production series as well as to creative research and sculptural art jewellery. She is also passionate about photography which she exposes in photo exhibits and in a very unique and personal card collection at l’Empreinte coopérative.
For several years now, Sylvie has been integrating new materials such as coloured cement in some of her jewelry adding a unique contrast of texture and a zest of joy in her work!
As a member the Conseil des métiers d’art du Québec, she is often summoned to be part of a jury for the selection of craft artworks. In 1998, she obtained the prestigious Jean-Marie-Gauvreau award, honouring her work in the field of jewelry-making in province of Québec.
