Mathilda Lovell is a ceramic artist of Franco-British origin. She inherited her passion from her grandfather, who was also a ceramist. Trained at Montreal's Centre de céramique Bonsecours, she creates a world in which bowls, plates, goblets and more become works of art. Her contemporary pieces are inspired by European, African and Aboriginal cultures. For this bowl, she drew inspiration from Maori culture.
