Jeweler
Isabelle Kapsaskis
Isabelle graduated from l'École de joaillerie de Montréal in 2010. She traveled for several years and created her first pieces between Mexico and Argentina. Back in Montreal, she opened a home workshop and began selling in boutiques. She had two children in the meantime, so she's a full-time jeweler and mom. She designs large, textured, organic pieces, mainly in sterling silver, which she likes to pair with a few shades of gold, turquoise or blue.
She creates as she travels, with the same passion, and this raw energy comes through in her pieces. She's in touch with everything around her and then transmits it in her textures, shapes and colors. The heart of her work lies in the exploration and evolution of shapes and contrasts. By manipulating, forging and twisting metal, the very essence of her jewelry is born.

What fascinates me most about my craft is the whole creative process, from designing new pieces to unveiling them at trade shows. It's about transforming material into something beautiful and unique.
Being part of l'Empreinte was a way for me to have the best of both worlds, to have the freedom to create collections and to be able to sell them in a boutique where I had a voice, a decision-making process. Being part of a community of artisans who share the same dream: to make a living from our craft while sharing our ideas to promote Quebec art.
The cooperative is a great opportunity to make a living from our trade, to join forces as craftsmen to share ideas and visions. It's a unique model that, over the years, has proven that by joining forces, we can achieve something great and solid. It's exceptional visibility with a golden clientele.
