Artisan Glassmaker
Karina Guevin
Karina Guévin fell in love with glass during her studies at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, where she began to create sculptures in mixed media, particularly glass. This led her to the Espace Verre school in Montreal, where she perfected her glassblowing skills.
Her approach to glass is innovative. Karina pushes the limits when it comes to developing her ideas. Shape and colour come from the depths of her soul and reflect her sparkling personality. She currently works as a flame teacher in many schools around the world.
MEMBER SINCE 2017
She collaborates on her work with her husband, Cédric Ginart, who has a diploma in scientific glassblowing. He has also developed a solid artistic production of his own.
Their work is shown in Canada, as well as in the United States, France, Japan and the United Kingdom, where they exhibit glass sculptures and jewelry.

I blow and shape glass with a blowtorch to create utilitarian and decorative objects, sculptures and a range of jewelry inspired by fantastic tales and animals straight out of magical forests. My work is meticulous and requires great mastery of the material. It reflects my passion for a job well done, my love of the little things that bring a smile to your face and transport you to a magical world.
The cooperative brings me a lot on a human level. Like many artists, creative moments are spent in solitude. It's sometimes difficult to have direct contact with customers and collectors, and being a member of the cooperative enriches my life with wonderful encounters!
