This architectural curiosity was born from a municipal law requiring a green space in front of buildings. In the 19th century, promoters had the idea of recovering the lost space by placing the staircase outside!

Mélanie Laplante, Quebec glass artist and jeweler behind the MÉLA brand, shapes each piece of her Aurélia collection with passion and meticulousness. It was upon presenting them for the first time that Mélanie heard the first murmurs: "They look like sea creatures... seaweed... jellyfish...".
