Located in one of the most popular and beautiful neighborhoods of Montreal, Fabre Street enchants us with its beauty and its typical wrought iron stairs. This architectural curiosity was born from a municipal law requiring a green space in front of buildings. The promoters had the idea in the 19th century to recover the lost space by placing the stairs outside!
Renée Bovet, a Montreal artist and memberof Empreinte coopérative since 1988, was awarded the Prix du public du Salon des métiers d'art du Québec. Her work is part of major private collections in Quebec.
