A good coffee in the garden and a privileged view on the famous wrought iron stairs of Montreal, that's what Renée Bovet, Montreal artist, brings us with this beautiful image.

This architectural curiosity was born from a municipal law requiring a green space in front of buildings. In the 19th century, promoters had the idea of recovering the lost space by placing the staircase outside!

A memberof Empreinte coopérative since 1988, she won the Prix du public du Salon des métiers d'art du Québec and her work is part of major private collections in Quebec.

She has received awards such as: Winner of the 1999 Prix du public, Salon des métiers d'art du Québec (Montreal) and fifty-nine of her paintings were chosen by the Quebec Ministry of Agriculture, in 1989, to be awarded to the winners of the "Villes et villages fleuris du Québec" contest.

Please note that postal delays are out of l'Empreinte's control and may be longer than expected due to Canada Post's backlog following a month-long walkout, or to the time of year.

In Canada, delivery charges start at 200$ CA before taxes. You can choose other delivery methods at the checkout stage, for a fee but faster. These variable charges will be calculated at this stage.

Handling fees: A handling fee of 5$ is added to each order.

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on the volume, weight and shipping address of your order.

  • SHIPPING DELAY
Once your order has been validated and paid for, we will dispatch your parcel within a maximum of 5 working days.
Some items are produced to order. In such cases, shipment may take up to 10 working days, and you will be notified accordingly.
  • CANCEL OR CHANGE YOUR ORDER
Contact us immediately at (514) 861-4427. If your order is still being processed, we will do our best to accommodate your request.
  • EXCHANGE AND RETURN
We do not issue refunds. However, if you have changed your mind, we will gladly exchange your item for a voucher valid in our store or online within 30 days of receipt of your order.
  • EXCHANGE CONDITIONS
If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss of value.
  • RETURN COSTS
If you wish to exchange an undamaged item, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the product(s).
Initial shipping charges are non-refundable.
You will be responsible for the new shipping charges for your exchange.
  • UNCLAIMED PACKAGE
If your package has not been claimed, it will be returned to us.
We will contact you to determine whether the order should be reshipped or refunded.
If the buyer does not return to us within 31 days, the order cannot be reshipped and will not be refunded.
