Karina Guévin fell in love with glass during her studies at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, where she began to create sculptures in mixed media, particularly glass. This led her to the Espace Verre school in Montreal, where she perfected her glassblowing skills.
Her approach to glass is innovative. Karina pushes the limits when it comes to developing her ideas. Shape and colour come from the depths of her soul and reflect her sparkling personality. She currently works as a flame teacher in many schools around the world.
Her work has been shown in Canada as well as in the United States, France, Japan and the United Kingdom, where she exhibits glass sculptures and jewellery.
She collaborates in her work with her partner, Cédric Ginart, who has a degree in scientific glass blowing. He has also developed on his side a solid artistic production.
