Each ring is unique! To create it, Montreal jeweler Isabelle Kapsaskis fuses the ring's plate with silver powder, then shapes it into the shape of a wave, hence its name: Olas. The collection is inspired by the movement of waves washing up on the sand.
The upper part is in 14-carat yellow gold-plated silver, and the two pieces are meticulously joined by small silver rivets. The lightness of the sterling silver and the finesse of the gold bring out the texture and add character to this one-of-a-kind ring.

The Tierra Oro ring by Montreal jeweler Isabelle Kapsaskis is handcrafted in silver and plated with 14-carat yellow gold. Each ring is unique in that it is first fused with silver dust, then forged. It is adorned with two white freshwater pearls, 4 to 5 mm in diameter.
Please note that each ring is different, but identical. There may therefore be nuances in the color and size of the pearls, and differences in the texture of the metal. But Isabelle tries to put pearls that look alike.

The Aurélia vermeille ring is a creation of Montreal glass artist Mélanie Laplante for her MÉLA line.
Set with a transparent glass bead with dazzling reflections, the spiral band makes it easy to adjust the size of the ring.
Mélanie Laplante, Quebec glass artist and jeweler behind the MÉLA brand, shapes each piece of her Aurélia collection with passion and meticulousness. Inspired by texture and form, she first sculpts her creations in wax, giving them an organic, almost living dimension. Once cast in sterling silver, these works come to life.
It was upon presenting them for the first time that Mélanie heard the first murmurs: "They look like sea creatures... seaweed... jellyfish...". Intrigued by these unexpected similarities, she let herself be inspired and named her collection Aurélia, in homage to the jellyfish of the Saint-Laurent estuary. A nod to the harmony that links art, nature and the imaginary. As we say here: "Tout est dans Tout!"

Aurelia silver earrings are the perfect complement to the the silver Aurelia ring from the same collection.
Mélanie Laplante, Quebec glass artist and jeweler behind the MÉLA brand, shapes each piece of her Aurélia collection with passion and meticulousness. Inspired by texture and form, she first sculpts her creations in wax, giving them an organic, almost living dimension. Once cast in sterling silver, these works come to life.
It was on presenting them for the first time that Mélanie heard the first murmurs: "They look like sea creatures... seaweed... jellyfish...". Intrigued by these unexpected similarities, she let herself be inspired and named her collection Aurélia, in homage to the jellyfish of the Saint-Laurent estuary. Inspired by texture and form, she first sculpts her creations in wax, giving them an organic, almost living dimension. Once cast in sterling silver, these works come to life.
It was upon presenting them for the first time that Mélanie heard the first murmurs: "They look like sea creatures... seaweed... jellyfish...". Sylvie Lupien is an internationally renowned Montreal jeweler. In 1998, she was awarded the Prix Jean-Marie Gauvreau for her body of work. Her creations have been exhibited several times in New York and Chicago as part of the prestigious SOFA (Sculpture Objects and Functional Art) events.
In spring 2023, Sylvie saw one of her works featured in the exhibition Parrall(elles): Another History of Design at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.
